Go to Windows Explorer and highlight the files (use for multiple files) and right click on any highlighted file and "send to" the other drive, probably E: You cannot do that with program files, though - they must be "Installed".
You can mirror one drive to the other, including program files, the registry and all. You will need Acronis True Image to do that. DON'T try it with Norton Ghost - it's at best unreliable.

In the case of documents, movies, and music files, a simple copy/paste should do the trick. For entire programs, though, you'll need to reinstall from the CD.

Get a thumb drive and transer it to that. After that, put it into the drive you need to put it into. That way, you can have the files with you if you want. If not, just delete them when you are done.
