In animal crossing do games all have different characters?

Well it's possible that some characters are the same, but I believe the max characters you can have is 8, and there are about 200 possible characters. So you're more likely to find no repeats than a repeat if you go to someone else's town. But it's possible and happens all the time.

Yeah, the characters will mostly be different, but since it's random, it is possible to get the same one. I doubt you would ever have all of them be the same though. My boyfriend and I once both had a Bob in our towns, but other than that, we always have different characters.
