It is common to not have a period for a long time after giving birth when you are breastfeeding and also common for your period to be irregular or your cycle to be longer once you do start having it again.

I wish mine would wait 10 months. My period usually starts after 5.

Irregularity of periods during breast feeding. Though some claims say that pregnancy is prevented during this time, don't rely on this because many pregnancies have occurred during lactation. Use a reliable method of birth control and have a great parental experience.

They can be so wacky and unpredictable after childbirth is pretty much all that can be said especially while breast feeding. When are you planning to stop breast feeding? They should get back to some sort of normalcy once you stop.

you mean first period after birth? cuz I would be worried if that was your absolute first, cuz then your just a little kid.
