I met a really nice girl who is good friends with my new friends. She seemed very shy, so how should I approach her to be my friend without scaring her away! ;)

Well, if you already have mutual friends plan an outing with the group.

She will feel more at ease and you won't scare her away.
Then you can always ask her out as a couple if you are interested and you will have broken the ice.

Good Luck!!

well if i was the girl i would probly like it if we hung out sometimes or like we went out for like ice cream or something you know. And if she's shy then find something she really likes to do and then do that and then maybe she'll know that you can make her smile and be happy and she'll open up and realize she dont have to be shy around you... if you need help with that then askone of your friends what she likes to do. well i hope it works best of luck :)

Ask her out to the movies, or go bowling, or just hang out together and watch a good movie rental together.
