when you go to bed at night and it is a warm night do you still have to use a blanket or sheet to cover you? I do because if i am just laying there with no blanket i get this feeling that someone or something is going to get me...is this strange or do some of yas get this feeling too?

I totally get what you mean. I feel the same way sometimes. I guess as a baby or a child we were always in our blankets, and we just feel safer. I always have a blanket, as long as its not reallly hot. Plus I have a fan in my room.

i like using a blanket/or sheet no matter what. But a blanket is not going to protect you from anything but the cold.

yeah, i am so like that too. I have to have a sheet on me even if it is boiling hot because I am afraid that something will get me or something like a spider or insect might crawl on me. I am terrified of insects and spiders so thats the main reason why I have to have a cover over me!! I don't know why people do it, perhaps its in the unconscious or is something to do with past experiences, thats what psychologists would say.

yes, i cover with a blanket always. even if its a thin sheet. blankets protect us from the monsters, lol.

I actually still keep my winter blankets on during the summer....but when I don't have them on I sort of feel like I'm not protected by anything...so no you aren't alone

..It's the "security blanket" issue darling......ask Linus from the Peanuts comic strip sweetie. It's a security issue...as well as for a warmth factor.....either that or it's a "steal the covers" issue hun.

i ALWAYS need a blanket even if its +30 out. i can't fall asleep without one...but it's not cause i think someone is out to get me i just feel more comfortable with one.
