If you normally have a regualr period you should go to a dr. If you are sexually active without protection its possible that you were pregnant and had a miscarriage and will need a DNC to have everything cleaned out of you.

I would see a doctor. I was 3.5 months pregnant befor finding out I was pregnant I took 4 tests all negative even a blood test . when I got a sonogram there was no fedus just a sack I also went through years of abdominal pain and abnormal bleeding. It could be an imbalance of hormone levels , or endometreousis. See a doctor the sooner you can figure out why this is acurring you can statr to take steps in fixing it.

ok... if you have had clots before you'd know what they look like, so if you dont think its a clot, odds are you might have just had a miscarriage, if you started the pill and didnt know you were pregnant, it could cause a miscarriage, id call your doctor... if you dont know what clots look like, here a tip, they look like a cross glob of blood, like nasty jello or a big bloody booger, if it didnt look like that, it's probably not a clot below is a picture, very graphic, or what a baby looks like at about 6 weeks, if it looked kinda like that, than odds are you had a miscarriage

It sounds like normal period stuff but if your going through more than one pad an hour you should call your gyn and ask. Since it has been 2 months since your last cycle this period will be heavier than your last.

That's totally normal! Seriously. It's the lining of your endometrius (sp?), I think. All my periods have been like that for the past 19 years. No big deal.

Now, missing your period for two months - you might wanna check into that.

heavy periods are considered normal, yet, many of my friends, patients and family members all had to have some type of intervention. you will be ok. it is an unusual heavy period, what is causing your abnormality....not sure at this point. get a check up at you gyn if you haven't lately. if you are on birth control pills, shots, patches...you may need an adjustment on your dosage.

Just normal period weirdness. Don't worry about it unless it doesn't quit within a reasonable time frame.
