To add your PS2 to your Internet connection, you'll need what's called a "router" - it will split your Internet connection to both your computer and your PS2, and protect your connection from outside attacks as all new routers nowadays have some sort of firewall built in. Go to your nearest Best Buy / Circuit City and ask them to help you pick out a broadband router (it'll come with a network cable, BTW).

You can get an ethernet cable from Best Buy, Circuit City, or pretty much any electronics store on or offline.

You will need a router, switch or a hub in order to plug in your ps2. So in the end your modem, PC, and PS2 will all plug into a router/switch or hub. That's 3 ethernet cables total.

You can get the ethernet cable just about anywhere that sells computers.Even Home Depot and Loews sell them.

You do not HAVE to get a router either. Only if you want to be on the Internet on you computer and have your PS2 onnline at the same time.

If you are happy to use only one at a time, then just switch cables when you need to.

If you don't get a router, then just plug the PS2 cable into the same plug on the modem that the PC plugs into.
