I'm a girl, I'm 22 and I had a double hernia when I was six months old. The scars from my surgery are still visible, two of them, symmetrical on either side of my lower abdomen, about two inches long. My mom said tthat because the muscles in my abdomen were damaged, when I learned to crawl I was too weak to hold my head up so I dragged it on the ground in front of me and always had a red splotch of rugburn on my forehead.

am i girl . I have a hernia. just got it. don't know exactly what it is or how it comes about. but its very painful. mine is. Dr said, if it grows I'll have to have it operated on. But so far its not too bad. take xtra strenght Tylenol.
