I failed the stupid thing 3 times in row by 1 point! I'm so mad!
I asked to get it regraded and it came back the same score!
Has anyone else experienced this? I used the barrons book and a website before to help study. The website CST review sucks but the rest of the test reviews were ok. I am now reading the REA teacher prep (big purple book).

If you know you're content area you should be fine. Some of the CSTs are more difficult, ELA and Social Studies, but again, if you are very aware of your content area, you will do fine.

I suggest looking at sample essays because the way the state wants you to write is a little different than what you may be used to. Understand the way the test is graded also.

Relax and take your time... Good Luck!!!

YUCK! I had to take a teaching certification test (I can't remember what ours is called) but not for New York. It had three sections. I got lucky and passed all three. Good luck this weekend.
