Even though it's sexist, in reality it usually is the woman going out and buying the cleaning products and/or being the one cleaning the home. And like another answerer said, women sell better.

I've asked myself the same question many times, ever since the Shake n Vac advert. Best theory I have is that they have breathed in too many fumes.

I know the acting is rubbish and phoney. That one where the woman is asking for a loan and the son is shouting for his bike. Its the worst geordie accent I have heard. We could do it better.
