They will draft the best players available to them when their pics come up (which are both late in the first round). I think they will look for a LB first since Bruschi is getting on in years. Also, they need to do something about the WR position. Chad Jackson was pretty much a bust since he has been hurt from the moment we drafted him. They also will be looking for someone to play DB, Samuel will only spend another year in New England since he's not to happy about being franchised.

All that said, Belichick will take whoever he wants.

I like APGNELSON's picks

They would pick the best available person except that they actually have a few glaring needs this year.. LB and DB

I would love to see them address both through free agency and then use the two first rounders on two positions that are relitlively deep in the draft like WR and OL..

Personally I think the Right side of the Pats O line is a little bit weak and I would like to see them draft a Behamouth run blocker to open up some holes for Boney Maronney..

And Jarrett, Ginn, Meachem, or Bowe would be an appropriate pick as their second first round selection.. If they are available..

Also, look for the Pats to move up in the second round again like they did for Chad Jackson (Who was hurt last year, and definatly shouldn't be concidered a bust.. ..yet) last year

24. Dwayne Bowe: A big, strong, physical reciever that will compete to become Tom Brady's #1 target

(The Patriots could also draft Posluszny if he falls to them)

28. Daymeion Hughes: Pac-10 Defensive Player of the year...will add depth to Pats secondary

Patrick Willis - LB and Damien Hughes - CB. I know they retained Asante Samuel but they still need an upgrade over Ellis Hobbs. The linebacking corps is starting to age and if you haven't seen Patrick Willis, he is a stud at ILB.

I think it will probably be Tedd Ginn Jr. from OSU. They will need to upgrade the receivers and being a Colts fan and an OSU fan it will be hard to watch.
