Whatever a collector is willing to pay.

Nolan Ryans rookie card is actually from 1968. It should have kind of a wood looking border and feature two players. The other player on the card is Jerry Koosman. The card number on the back is 177.

Beckett lists this card at 500$. Now, with these older cards, condition is paramount. 4 sharp corners, no creases, good color and finish. If it is in really good shape, I would advise getting it graded. A good grade would increase the sale value quite a bit.

Thats got to be worth a ton. Nolan Ryan is one of the best pitchers of all time and any Rookie card is worth a lot. With his no-hitters and strike outs a Nolan Ryan Rookie card has got to be one of the top 25 most valuable rookie cards.

His Official Rookie card is a Topps "1969 Rookie Class"...which includes three other people on it (its split into 4...nolan should be on the bottom right). If that is what you have, yes, its worth something but it depends on the condition of the card.

It's worth what someone will give you for it.

Baseball cards rarely bring their "book" value, because you have to find someone who wants it bad enough to pay you that book value.

I imagine Nolan Ryan's rookie card is worth a couple hundred bucks, so you might post it on ebay with a reserve a little lower than book value.

WOW!!! It just might be! But his true rookie card is a 1969 Topps. But no matter what, You need to get your hands on a Becketts Price Guide and look it up. Another good thing to do is to go to ebay and see if any are up for bid, then compare it to yours. Don't just look at one look at all If any that may be up for bid. If it is a dandy card, then you will want to have it graded by Becketts.[They are top dog in this field] Good Luck to you and enjoy collecting. I hope it truly is a dandy card!!

Sure it's worth something, but it has to be in perfect, almost untouched condition. Otherwise, you'll get half of what the price guide says. If you try to sell it at a store or convention, none of the collectors will want to give you full price. If you sell it on ebay, you'll get lots of hits but the big spenders won't bite if they can't see it up close. Just hold onto it, or if it's not in perfect condition, sell it with no regrets and move on with your life.

It's worth whatever someone will pay you for them. No one buys cards anymore except card shops.
