I need help listening for changes in music - classic country and I have trouble finding when to change.?

Find an easy 3 chord country song that you know and have heard many times. Get the sheet music or lyrics and chords off the internet. Play the song and change when the chords above the lyrics tell you to. Memorize this song so you don't have to look at the chord changes. If you can still tell when to change, you are on the right track and you do have an ear for changes. If you do this enough times you will improve your "ear" for when to change. It does take time and practice. Some people have a hard time hearing the changes, but sometimes get on to it. Good luck.
