I saw his 60 minutes interview and was impressed. He's very intelligent and quick on his feet. He can think for himself. I very much doubt that he would let his Vice President or any other special interest group run the country.
It's true that he has very little foreign policy experience. But at least he's a self-made man. He has what he has because of who he is. GWB's whole life before becoming president was defined by his father and his father's friends, from his admission to Yale, to evading Vietnam, to getting financing for his oil ventures and baseball team, to the political machine that made him Governor and President. And there's no way Hillary Clinton could run for President if not for her husband's Presidency.
We got hoodwinked in the past two elections. Just look at the polls and where we are at in Iraq.
Politics is not just about who can raise the most funds, or who can make their friends rich, or who can wield the biggest stick. It should be about leadership that is driven by a sincere desire to care for the nation and its people, to create a greater good for the present and future prosperity for all.
It's about the man, or woman. They need ability, that there is not doubt. But also, they should possess a depth of character. I'll say it again, a depth of character. The ability to truly care for others and to love this great country. None of us are mind readers, but if you look into their eyes, you can sometimes see that gateway to their hearts.
It's a highly subjective process, I'll admit, but important nevertheless. It's critical that we choose the right person to lead this country. We cannot afford another four years of failed leadership.

At least you use correct grammar... *sarcasm*. Anyway, he has a better shot for the president than Hillery does. I'd by happy voting for either in the next election. It will be my first time as well. From my perspective, the Republicans have done enough damage already, so it is my hope others across this natuon feel the same.
Either candidate would be harder to get in because one is black and one is a woman. Depending on where you live, both may, and probably do, expirience prejudices and won't be voted for just because of their race or sex.
I think Obama would have a slightly better chance of victory than Hillery, but only the future will give the answer. We can hope it's not like the Bush v Gore catastrophe (Gore won Florida by vote, but the Supreme Court decided Bush won).

He'd be better off being Hillary's running mate/Vice President to be. I heard once, not long ago, his wife hates her husband's opponents. On the same token, Hillary Clinton might be better off as Edward's Vice President. But in a way, I hope Edwards chooses Davis as his running mate and that Edwards wins.

i think of he has to guard himself or rebuttle on the flaws she first pronounced approximately him. i do no longer think of he's sexist, i think of he's in simple terms being smart. Palin has no kind journey in any respect. She runs 9,000 human beings, she has no journey in any respect and her important different and youngsters identity in shambles. How can she run a united states whilst she will't even run her very own relatives. Her son is on drugs, her daughter is pregnant and he or she is being investigated by potential of her district attorney. that asserts a lot, Obama had to handle that concern through fact she is blatantly no longer in great condition to be vp. I recommend people who vote for McCain desire this united states to go through and it will if flow with him. we can be worst off than ever, I desire it wasn't approximately shade and extra approximately what we actually desire in a president.

I support him, as I am sick of the current system and he offers the best opportunity for change. if he can get past Hillary, he can win the election. That being said, getting past Hillary will be no easy task.

He's too inexperienced and too liberal. All this media fawning over him is ridiculous, but it shows the liberal bias of the major media.
