By sin I'm assuming you mean in-line with the bible.

To answer that you have to understand you're the one held liable for your actions, not someone on this board answering you or the little devil and angel sitting on your shoulders either :)

The bottom line is.. the commandments were put in place to avoid hurting others. If you look at them they specify things not to do which would harm.. killing, coveting, etc. ANd they tell you to do things that will be good... honoring, cherishing, etc.

As long as you're not doing something that's going to hurt someone else, I would say it's not a sin.

Doing it online and spouting obsenities and making people feel badly.. well, that's another story obviously.

But sitting around all day doing nothing but playing video games.. might be considered Sloth. But you'd have to check with the big man upstairs on that one!

At the end of the day.. no matter what anyone says on here, the answer is truly up to you and with what you feel comfortable with.

Saints row basically copied each and every thing at once out of San Andreas. Why does gta 4 get plenty flack? It replaced into the 1st basically like gta 3 on a clean console yet no one ever talks approximately gta 3 anymore. i think of the recent gta will tutor human beings why Rockstar is king of the sandbox. I somewhat have saints row 2 and that i could nonetheless play San Andreas over it. the interest sounds like it replaced into would desire to suitable after San adreas by using fact the pics are nonetheless very cartoony. If there is something rockstar did that volition did no longer replaced into innovate. I recommend tell me something that saints row did majorly over San Andreas? the only project replaced into the create your person character. that's the biggest gta clone. i'm nonetheless getting sr3 yet there is not any way that is greater suitable than a gta interest. i've got threw 1000's of hours into the gta sequence and gta 4 multiplayer. Sr3? performed by it two times and shelved it.

No, its not a sin to play games. What many people fail to realize is that it is a form of enjoyment, that stems from the fact these things are atrocities in real life. Its the "feeling" of doing them, without the feelings of guilt or pain that result in real life. In a way, it is a release from the pressures and strains that occur, and help people deal with stress. It is only when you take a game to being a reality, and cross the boundaries of what is right and wrong that it becomes a sin.

Yes, and I'll tell you why... you should be playing "Halo" (1 and 2). That series kicks so much *** that we had to boat in some *** from out of country to kick.

Splinter Cell is a great series, too.
