they don't actually start out with the intent to do this ,they just do it,and then realize there not sure where there going or where they should turn off at,i see it all the time,i live in Tennessee,and i think we have some of the worst drivers here as anywhere,but its just something they do,not really realizing they are taking a chance on getting hit,that's why we have to be better drivers to watch out for them,good luck,i hope this help,s.

OH MAN!!! You call it out perfect!! They did this to me and My farther today on the way to work, almost side swipped us and then she swung back in her lane, cut the people in front of us off and realized she was in the wrong lane to begin with!!
Now ain't that something?!

One of three reasons.1-to turn off just ahead.2-to avoid being slowed up by big-rigs ahead.3- just to gain forward vision beyond a taller vehicle.Oh,and 4 just to piss you off.
