What are some of yours (or someone you know) that you don't mind sharing. I find that I tend to be overly critical of others...sometimes of people I don't even know.

I think a big one for me is inconsistency in my attitude. Sometimes I'm in a great mood and I'm lots of fun and positive... then I can become jaded and cynical. People have a hard time adjusting to those extremes. I wish I could be more upbeat and positive all the time, but I was raised by overly critical parents and there is so much to overcome! At least I realize it.

Sometimes I try to resist criticizing others -- even in my head. I try to pick out something beautiful or positive about them to combat the negative. It's a battle, though.

It takes about 14 positive thoughts to overcome 1 negative thought. That's what we're up against! Don't give up!! It's great that you realize this about yourself and you're sharing it.

...being a perfectionist,...being too nice,...being too honest (mostly to a fault)...I like to ride the fence post on certain issues sometimes...that way I can never be wrong. I have an opinion about everything...but I'm an expert at nothing. I have extremely good looks and an ego problem that occasionally gets the better of me. It's a curse being a very attractive man. I have an addiction to nicotine. I seek out women that are generally out of my league. Hey what the heck though. Nobody ever shamed anyone for trying. There's more...but thistle do for now. Yikes!!!

I tend to over simplify problems of people who complain a lot or are over dramatic. And I'm a perfectionist. Also I am very sensitive to insults, even if I don't show it.

I each so often choose I have been extra self-stimulated and magnificent, yet yet as quickly as I see perplexing-pushed formidable varieties, I additionally see that they are, all too in lots of instances, impatient with and illiberal of others. i understand that it rather is a lot much less demanding than maximum human beings think of to alter character characteristics, and that i understand that i ought to alter my own if i wanted to badly adequate, yet my own faults rather do no longer disturb me to any large quantity. i understand they are there, yet I stay with them peacefully, and settle for them as an crucial area of who i'm. could I ever grow to be sufficiently disturbed with the aid of them, then i assume i visit get rid of them (yet via fact that no person is "acceptable", if i'm getting rid of the faults I definitely have now, might I sub-consciously replace them with others?) previous a doubt, there are some human faults which could be thoroughly eradicated ASAP - yet some at the instant are not so undesirable if we are able to correctly known them and attempt to maintain them below real looking administration.
