San Francisco, CA (WFN) -- Two special effects experts who specialize in scientifically testing some of America's biggest myths and rumors are tackling a real whopper: Finding out whether Jimmy Hoffa is really buried in New York's Giants Stadium.

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, who host the Discovery Channel show "Mythbusters," convinced bigwigs at the stadium to let them poke around and see if Hoffa's body is decomposing somewhere under the grass.

Using ground-penetrating radar, the two examined five of the most-commonly cited burial spots: The two end zones, the 10-yard line, the 50-yard line and seat section 107.

Their results? They came up with zip, zilch and zero evidence of a dead body

The TV series MythBusters featured an episode where ground penetrating radar was used to search for Jimmy Hoffa's body at the Giants stadium. The search met with negative results.

TV's "Mythbusters" Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman left an urban legend standing — or rather lying — when they failed to prove one way or the other whether murdered Teamster boss James R. Hoffa is buried in Giants Stadium. Hoffa disappeared from a restaurant parking lot in Oakland County, Michigan in 1975 and was declared dead in 1983, but his body has never been found. Urban folklore has located the remains in Giants Stadium, the Florida Everglades, a New Jersey landfill, a Central Sanitation shredder, and buried in cement beneath various freeways, bridges and buildings from Michigan to New York. Back in Giants Stadium, Savage and Hyneman admitted their results were inconclusive because they weren't able to check every possible location in the time alotted. Footage of the investigation has already been aired.

It's widely believed that the mob killed union leader Jimmy Hoffa and disposed of his body by dumping it at a major construction site - in a cement block.

There are all kinds of theories, but whoever "wacked" him supposedly never talked. And it would difficult for any mobster to prove that their version is the truth. It would be impossible to get evidence out of a cement block with damaging it and without knowing where to look.

There have been plenty of other theories but his body has never been found nor has any evidence.

My guess is the "skyway" in Buffalo NY... they plan to demolish the old highway in the comming years... we may find out then....but what are the odds of finding 1 skeleton in that many tons of concrete? Hoffa will not be found, because someone with money & power didn't want him to be found....
