I have a 2001 Emachines W2060:
- AMD 2000 +
- 256 MB (224)
- S3 ProSavage (available AGP slot)
- 60 GB Hard Drive

The only games I have ever played on my PC are some really good older titles, like Star Craft, Command and Conquer:Tiberian Sun, Empire Earth, and the only 3D game I have ever played on it is Warcraft III. My computer seemed to handle that game pretty well, so is there any chance that Rome:Total War would work on my outdated PC?

Well, I think this goes without saying, you're going to need a graphics card, check the requirements for the game here, http://totalwar.wargamer.com/requirements.html

You can pick up a Radeon 9600Pro will get the job done for about $60, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814131262 it's nothing fast or new but it will get you through that game.

For an improved experience I'd recommend at least 512MB of memory.

Alot of approach video games are conflict in touch (I.E Command and conquer, Skyrim, Mass effect 2). the only ones i can think of of that at the instant are not conflict in touch are Sims 3, rich person based video games, Sim city.... you should appear at Civilization 5 it has a conflict determination yet you could win different techniques as properly conflict mutually with diplomatically, scientifically, culturally. desire it enables.

No. the video card is NOT a gaming card, it most likely will not even open the game much less be playable. Get a much better video card. www.newegg.com for prices, and www.tomshardware.com for benchmarks.

hmm...I can't really solve that for you, but this site can:
http://gameadvisor.futuremark.com/gameadvisor/service/
sign up and scan your computer. Then search for the game. Enjoy!

look at the specs required for the game. as long as you have the specs plus a little more, then you are good.
