I was on Millennium Force at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio. I was 12, and I loved rollercoasters. Now, I am a fairly small person, behind in my growth. Well, the seat I was in was made for a larger person, and my belt fit. It didn't tighten very well, but we finally got it. Once we start going up the hill, the belt loosens a little. Mind you, this coaster is 305 feet tall with an 80-degree drop, with a top speed of 90 miles per hour. So, needless to say, I had the sh*t scared out of me. Thankfully, I had a lap bar that locked.
We went over the hill and the belt got even more loose. I clutched the lap bar as hard as I could. My friend, who was sitting next to me, kept one hand on the lap bar and used the other one to hold on to me. I felt the natural G-forces lifting me up a little, as happens on most coasters.
Lucky for me, nothing else happened. After that first drop, I was screaming with excitement. I never had another problem, and that is my favorite coaster to this day.
By the way, nobody ever died on Kingda Ka. If someone did, the coaster would be torn down.

I had never been on a roller coaster but my 12 and 7 year old grand children wanted to try it out. The 7 year old got frightened so the 12 year old asked me to go with her. It was my first time but I screamed as loud as anybody else. I loved it so much I went 4 times and I am 74.
It felt g r e a t .

going on millenium force at cedar point in sandusky, ohio back in 2000. the ride was relatively new and at the time was said to be the tallest and fastest steel coaster out there i believe. (300 ft...92 mph). man it was scary going up the climb in the cart b/c it was pretty damn slow and u know the anticipation is the thing that kills u. but when u reach the top and go down...i honestly felt like i was gonna fall out of seat. after we went down the initial drop everything else was good though. i was scared but did a good job of not showing it. lol
my buddy who's terrified of coasters kissed the ground after we got finished. i though he was gonna sh*t himself!

I went on the Texas Giant with my mom at Six Flags Over Texas when I was about 8, and I was terrified because I thought she was going to fall out of the seat beside me when we went on the turns. I absolutely hated it. Of course, now I love the rollercoaster and I laugh at how stupid I was. But I was little and I loved my mommy, and I didn't want anything to happen to her, especially when I was terrified.

the perfect suggestion for paying for over an apprehension of coasters is to purely decide for it. i used to be deathly petrified of them, and that i muscled up the braveness and rode it with my lady chum who replaced into reassuring and ended up having a blast. metallic coasters are frequently lots smoother than wood ones, despite if there is often an exception. Boomerang coasters are notoriously tough, as are SLC's (concepts Eraser between different names at various parks). Your perfect wager could be a metallic coaster with lap bars. With the Over the Shoulder Restraints, you are able to sense extra comfortable as they close and since the trip starts, yet some are conducive to headbanging, which will probable make you ill.

I went on the super loop at the Adelaide Show about 20 years ago. I nearly fell out, and that scared the you know what out of me. I never went on that ride again, and haven't seen it at the fairs for some years now.....
