How do you set up trinity and summons?

I have a walkthrough but it dosent make sence how you use them or set them up also how do you get summons out please thanx

From Kingdom Hearts? Summons, you have to meet with the Faity Godmother and Merlin after you give him the Winnie the Pooh book. She'll give you your first summon, Simba.

For trinites, you automatically get them after completing certain events. To use them, just stand near/on the trinity and your commands will least trinity as one of the commands (look for the yellow, blue, red and green symbols)
