Can anyone help me with my internet browser problem?

For a couple of weeks now, I've been having problems with my all three of the browsers that I use, Mozilla Suite, Mozilla Firefox, and IE. Problems include:

Scrambled pictures
Flash videos on sites such as Google video and YouTube play for a few seconds and quit as if the video had played all the way through.
EXE downloads flash error messages saying the download is corrupt.
I have lots of trouble getting into the original version of Gmail and sometimes Google calendar won't load.
Sometimes a website that I visit will randomly spit out jumbled coding and display maybe a header or a small section of the page formatting.

I've tried reinstalling Mozilla already but that didn't help at all.

My security programs include:

NVidia Firewall
Spybot S&D
F-Prot Antivirus

I recently got rid of thinking they were the problems:

Spyware Terminator
BufferZone

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I run F-Prot and Spybot S&D all the time, but NVidia firewall is only application and connection control.

My OS is WinXP and my internet is cable

Assuming that its not a virus that's simply undetected so far, I would guess you have hardware issue in your Cable modem, lan cable lan card, somewhere. Possibly due to static electricity? Its been awfully dry in my house due to the heater running allllll the time. Everytime I get up outta my chair, I get a shock if I touch the PC.

well scan for problems on all three of your security programs. what kind of os do you have? what kind of internet connection do you have? it sounds like a virus to me, but i need more info to be sure. feel free to e-mail me for further help. good luck!
