Chavez is great and hitting his prime, Atkins is great too but what if he leaves Coors Field? Hmmm....(don't do it).

If it is just a year-to-year keeper league then I would do it for sure. Hell I would even do it if Patterson/Chavez wasn't involved... Myers is an awesome pitcher and Glaus' only flaw compaired to Atkins is his average. And I would take Patterson over Chavez since you'll already have Glaus at 3B so Patterson could add some steals for balance.

I would make that trade all day. I would take patterson because you are already getting a third baseman in Troy Glaus. Even though Chavez is a better player.

IN most leagues this trade would be protested and vetoed But to answer the question i would take Chavez. the try to trade either Glaus or Chavez if my team was weak in an area. But having both does give you nice depth at 3rd in case of injury.

I wouldn't give up that much for Atkins.

I'd also take Chavez over Patterson. OF'ers are a dime a dozen.

I would not give up that much for Atkins. I would rather have Patterson because Chavez has said that he is going to have lingering injuries probably forever and he is going to have to learn to play through them. I don't trust that.

that is WAY too much to give up for atkins, and take it from a cub fan that you dont want patterson on your team, chavez is the superior player

If you're getting all that for Atkins, it sounds good, but you'll have to give up 2 more players also, so it depends on how that will impact your team as much as the players listed.

the two, identity commerce bedard, hart is far extra useful. pitching is in simple terms 0.5 of the game, in delusion baseball, and that's a lot wiser to attempt to dominate the offensive catagories through fact is notably trouble-free to construct a pitching team from the unfastened agent checklist which will end in the direction of the pitching stats, which will generally win a league.
