I want to upgrade my sound card but I don't want to lose the ability to record "what you hear". Help please!

It's my understanding that not all sound cards support "what you hear". I use this source option for recording streaming audio. Any soundcard descriptions I have read do not mention anything about it but to me it's the make or break feature.

I don't know of ANY sound card that DOESN'T allow you to record.
