I would say google is the best search engine. Is the most known out there. That means more sites are sumibted to google than any other search engine. With Google's tools and having more sites to search through, is very easy to find what you want.

i like google powered http://www.shooshle.com because it allows me to choose color for result window.
and yea!! definately Google is best.
