Randy Couture is fighting again because he never really stopped fighting. His "retirement" was basically because he couldn't beat Chuck Liddell and he wasn't going to go back up the ladder facing people at 205 to possibly get another fight against a guy he couldn't beat. That was basically why he went from heavyweight to light heavyweight in the first place, he was avoiding competition he knew he couldn't beat at the time. The only reason I think he can win now is because from the time he left heavyweight until now, he has grown as a fighter so much, he has gotten way smarter and craftier. He's still a physical marvel, even at 43, and holds victories over Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Vitor Belfort and a host of other terrific fighters. Sylvia is big and has a long reach and can sprawl (ask Jeff Monson) but Couture isn't a one dimensional fighter like Monson, he can throw hands, and I think he can land enough to slip through Sylvia's sprawl and ground and pound a win. It will be interesting to see what happens

He is one of the best of all time. Besides if I was told that I would get a heavyweight title shot then I would come back too. I am really rooting for him, he is really good at take downs. However, size may become an issue with his take down tactics when this match comes around.
