have you only just got your washer or as it always been like this?so is it not spinning the water out?If not have you put your outlet pipe straight outside, cause if so what you should do is put the pipe up 1st onto the back of your washer then put it outside. It's because the water as to find its water level so its to go up 1st then out that should do it hopefully.because if its just going straight out it wont work like that so try an put it up onto something 1st then outside. If this still doesn't work then i don't know.Hope this does help tho as it's happened to me before. Is it doing everything else the full wash?Just wont empty?Well i hope this helps bye for now jodimac007

The spin/rinse cycle on my machine was erratic,.then quit all together. The problem was the lid switch. The lid has to be closed for the spin mode to work (safety). If the switch fails, the machine thinks the lid is open, and will not go into spin/rinse mode. I believe the repacement switch was around $25.00
Hope this helps..good luck

really need more details, is it draining the water and not spinning or is it not going into the spin cycle at all, if draining and not spinning then most likely its the belt or the coupling depending on the modelyou have, if not going into the spin cycle it would be the lid switch. go to http://www3.sears.com/ put your model number in and it will give you a breakdown of the unit. Good luck. Wish I could be of more help but really need more details.

It could be a burned out motor, or if you hear it turning, and the barrel just doesn't spin, then it might have a worn out or broken belt.

If the motor and belt seem to be okay, then the problem might be in the controls.

Could be a motor, could be agitator dogs, could be a transmission, could be a bad timer. It is very difficult to answer your question without more details. Is if a front loader (door in front) or a top loader (lid on top) What is the model and serial number? What brand is it?
