Processor, AMD 64 754 pin, motherboard Asustek.
System was working fine. Next start up just the HD light comes on and stays on steady. Nothing else happens. No POST. Won't boot to A: drive even.
P/S?
Motherboard?
How does one test this system?
Voltages look good measured with a DVM.

Check to make sure all components are seated properly.
Then, bring it down to basics.. Processor, memory, video card.
If it works, add components one by one until you find the culprit.
If it doesn't then you have narrowed it down to those three items plus the power supply. Next is just swapping out parts until you isolate the issue.
It probably wouldn't hurt to try taking it out of the case and testing it on something non-conductive and non-static. Cardboard will work fine.

My first guess would be that the memory is loose or bad.
