I too am a grown man with hard emotions. I cried my eyes out last night though watching Great Ormond Street.
A poor 4 year old girl had chemotherapy and 2 tumours removed - she was so brave.
She was finally given the all clear and could finally go to primary school.
4 months later the cancer came back and claimed her life.

Yes this does for me too, documentaries about ill children, NSPCC adverts with abused children. When my son did the Christmas concert at school, they all did a full version of Over the Rainbow in sign language, and thay all did it correctly, half the parents were in tears including me. My husband does but covers his face with a cushion.

I cried when I last watched Oprah.. I felt so bad for those girls over in Africa...

And yesterday on my way home from work I saw a skunk twitching on the side of the road and that made me cry.

Don't ever be ashamed for showing your emotions because if you do, you deny the truth. We as a society seem to be more and more desensitized from horrific events, including those that involve children. It is as wrong as it can be. The world needs to be more appalled.

Everyone cries at something! For me it's anything to do with people torturing or maiming animals or abuse of children. Or loneliness, like old lonely people living on their own who starve to death cos there was no one to do their shopping....oh god sob even just thinking about it...
