you are being an a-- you took the car to them to have it fixed, how did you expect them to move it around, you would get billed directly if they used a tow truck.how do you ever plan on having the car serviced or warranty work done if no one can drive it.
grow up and grow a brain

30,000 grand huh, that sure was an expensive ride. You should always give yourself time and room to stop, especially with a new car. At 18-19 teenagers think that they know everything that they need to know about the world, I know I was there too. When you mature you will realize that you are in control of a lot less than you think and adjust your lifestyle accordingly (that's why your insurance is so much now, other than the fact that you rear-ended an old lady). Wow, you expect them to fix your car without driving it. When I first read your question I noted to myself "What a spoiled little brat", but I need to give you a little more credit than that because you are so young.

I would much rather have someone drive my car than have it piggy-backed on a roll back with those steel hooks and chains on it.

Way Way Way over reacting. It is the responsibility of a person repairing a wrecked car to ensure that everything (E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g) is fixed. That includes taking the car through each department to make sure it is safe to drive. If he fixed the cosmetic things and did not have the mechanical things checked and fixed and/or reset. he would be negligent in his responsibility. Had he not had it checked and it was broken, you could have driven two blocks and been in another accident and killed. You owe him an apology as he was being responsible and thorough in his job.

you are over reacting and you should have kept your cool on the phone to these people. You handed your car over to them to fix well the only way they could completely fix it was to take it to the dealership and have the computer reset in it. I don't know what your worried about...if they would have gotten into a wreck in the car their insurance would have paid in full for all repairs or possibly a new car....mechanics know what they are doing when it comes to a car and if they don't have the means to fix one of the problems they take it to where it can be fixed and it comes right back to their shop.

You're over reacting. They did what they thought best to fix the car; that's what you gave them the car to do.

Take a breath man. Relax till you get it back and see if there is a problem with the computer; then have a cow.

Ya you are over reacting, If youread the contract you signed it states the shop has control of your car until it is fixed and you pay them in full......So in order to fix your car they needed to drive it to another shop say for alignment, you said OH OK when you signed the contract.

Nothing ..yes you are overreacting...you should have specified ahead of time that you were willing to pay additional fees to have vehicle transported by flatbed...he most likely would have to drive it for a test to verify there were no previously undiscovered problems anyway.

You are over reacting. How are they supposed to move your car around without driving it? it's common practice for mechanics to farm out to specialists.

you need to chill, but it's typical reaction for an 18 year old brat like yourself...
