how do i ask a guy for his phone number when we aren't friends but are starting to become friends..........................and dont spend much time together but i want to.........(without looking stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

don't lie about it. come on the guy who said some thing about bowling was stupid. once I met a girl at a summer camp. on the last day of camp we knew that we would probably not see each other for a while. she came right up to me and asked me for my number strait out. at first I was a little reluctant to give it to her but I gave her my email address. after 2 more weeks of emails I gave her my number. after that for 2 1/2 years 4 nights a week we were on the phone (she lived in another state). the thing that ended up breaking us up was her father dying. then she had to move to another time zone. but any way... don't go to fast. but you could say something like " can I have your number so I can call you sometimes?" if he says no it is not the end of the world. he might be the slow type, like me.

Alright this is what you do! You get a gathering together. Go up to him and say something like," Hey me and a couple of friends are going bowling or whatever. You want to come? Bring whoever you want. We aren't too sure about what time we are going, so...do you have a cell I can call if the plans change?

you might find it easier if you're on msn, but if you don't have that. You could send it in a note at class. If you want to ask him face to face, just bring it up when you're talking, like,
"What phone do you have?" and then say,
"Oh cool, could I have your number?"

Why don't you just ask him their is no shame in asking a man for his number. if you guys stay friends you will eventually get it so whats the problem

make plans and be like whats you cell
or when your talking just say oh yeah you werent in my phonebook heres my number.. you should call me

yeah, don't ever rely on a guy to do the asking. most likely he wants you too but just doesn't want to ask. its really not a big deal - if he likes you, he will be really happy. if he doesn't like you, he just won't call you much and will forget about you asking him. we really don't keep track of those things like girls do.
