If by texture you mean genre or type or music...There's no deffinite answer...Genre is basically an opinion

OK, since you have two independently moving lines it is counterpoint, but the texture is Polyphony. If the two lines are different enough in rhythm and character, then it is also considered Heterophony.
If the backing line is repeating it is called Ostinato. If the repeating voice is in the bass it is Bass Ostinato or Ground Bass.
