I don't think so. Labour have done themselves in and sadly, David Cameron seems to be favourite in the opinion polls. Yes, you're right, it is time for another party to get involved. Preferably the Green Party. It's about time we thought about the planet and got "greener." When the Earth is finally destroyed, what planet will we have to live on?

Labour certainly won't but the Communist run New Labour can't lose since even if the conservative get in there policies are not much different. Voting Main stream is really a no go for the intelligent voter. The BNP and UKIP are well and truly in the frame and allow choice for the first time in years. The BNP has matured greatly in the last ten years and under Nick Griffin has got rid of all the loonies that have held back it's natural development as a main stream alternative. UKIP are also outperforming the mainstream parties. The reason for increased interest is that both BNP and UKIP are addressing the real issues of today. Where New Labour is in fact endorsing ethnic cleansing and taking no notice of the electorate. Old Labour have died and no longer come into the equation. I believe both BNP and UKIP will obtain around about 50 to 60 seats in the next Parliament just enough to make a differnce and remove the one party state we find ourselves in to day.

The voters will decide at the next election. Be nice to know what the Tories stand for though (Veritas, Ramesses - you're good Tory loyalists, what does your party stand for?).
Tonytucks - I'm afraid it will be either Labour or the Tories next time, the Lib Dems will come third and could hold the balance of power but that is the best they can hope for. More likely though they will pick up disaffected Labour voters and let the Tories in by the back door.

I am a-political - I have voted every colour during my time.
But Blair, who came to power with his smile, has used up his time by totally ignoring public opinion. His MP's won't remove him from office. So I think Labour have had it.
David Cameron is showing well at the polls. But this is not for his policies, but because the nation is sick of Blair.
There will be some surprising results in the next election. Watch the local elections in May - although these are not always indicative of the national trend.
But I think the saddest thing is that even more people will not even bother voting because they believe that, whoever is in power, they are not going to do much about anything, and that politicians are all self-serving.

All governments make a hash of it, then again, it maybe that governments these days stay in power for just too long and we get fed up with them and think they've made a hash of it. Difficult to say who'll win the next election. I try and follow poll news in the papers, but they change so suddenly. One minute David Cameron hasn't boosted the Conservatives as much as he should have to win, the next, he's enjoying a comfortable lead. Until we see who takes over from TB, it's a hard one to call.

Labour or Nu Labour have betrayed the working type people of this united states of america. The time they have left to coach issues around isn't adequate, so i've got self belief that Labour would be voted out of workplace, yet while they shop on the way they are, Labour will take this form of hammering on the subsequent election they may be fortunate to outlive as a celebration. previous Labour or real Labour remains alive interior the Labour celebration, what's critical now could be for then advance some balls, and take back the celebration that Tony Blair, Gorden Brown and all the different Brown Noses (Tories in conceal) have hi-jacked. via fact what we've on the 2nd is a bad Tory government that likes to export jobs to the a approaches-East the place existence is decrease priced, and import decrease priced jap ecu labor to do what's left, and then call us Brits Lazy. I actual have consistently voted Labour yet no-extra via fact they have dumped on me in simple terms as quickly as to oftentimes. the place I stay was Labour by way of and by way of yet now i think of that the Lib-Dems might win and that's who i think of i'll vote for, yet nonetheless not sure (never vote Tory nonetheless).

It is unlikely that any party will have an overall majority at the next election. This will leave us with 2 possibilities:
1. The Queen appoints the leader of the largest party as PM who may have to run a minority government unless he can get enough smaller parties on side. (unlikely)
2. Labour and Lib Dems form an alliance and run as a coalition government, which will possibly collapse in a few months meaning another election.

Parties seem to lose the plot after the second term, maybe we should go the way of the Americans and only allow two terms. I hope Labour doesn't get in but what exactly do the Tories intend to do about the state of the country at present?

Yes i do think its about time we had a change of government,i dont like labour as they have always seemed seedy and underhanded to me,as for the tories the do seem to have found their feet again but again the lib dems do have some sound policies if you look at their manifesto as well,i dont think labour will get in again as they have not really done that well, and i do not think things are any better at all since they came to power, they are all spin and that Blair is one of the most conceited politicians there has ever been in my eyes and the sooner he goes the better but then agan i think it will get a lot worse with Brown as PM.
