I think it is a partnership and you have to be able to compromise a little and be best friends with your partner, otherwise it won't work.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I've only known you for 5 seconds. Don't you think it's a little early for that? Oh, you aren't asking me, you just want to know what I think about it. Well, I wouldn't say that I'm really religious, but I am conservative, and I believe that marriage and family is the most important thing in the world. So, I'd say that it's a great thing. I'm not a homophobe or anything, and I don't discriminate against gays, but I also believe it should be between a man and a woman.

Works for me; I got no complaints.
What do I think "about it?" I think that its not for everybody; obviously not couples that don't have the emotional maturity to work out problems. There are just as many relationships in the toilet for stupid reasons as for serious, legitimate ones.
I think you should spend a year really getting to know the person you're considering marrying. People can be "on their best behavior" for a while, but not that long. You need to discover your partner's worst habits - and your own.

Marriage is just a paper to get both connected but it still not stable...as long as both side love each others, everyday without marriage is still meaningful and lovable.

I think it is something that a great deal of people rush into and I would rather wait untill I was older and have a love that lasted a life time instead of getting married young and have a divorce on my record. Love can wait!

I didn't like mine...I don't believe a piece of paper that says hey your married has anything to do with love.Love is something you feel, someone who you want to be with no matter what.Having or not having that certificate does not change your love and it doesn't make it stronger. so in my opinion marriage is a choice, not a must

It can be great, but it can also be the hardest thing to keep together and break your heart and spirit when you're in it alone! Married 25 years and currently separated so a bit biased.

I try not to think about it too much because I'm lonely and shy. However, I hope to marry one day.
