Forgive my snarkiness, but you obviously took your clothes off and had intercourse... how can you be too embarrassed to buy a pregnancy test?? You better get over it and buy one fast, because you are definitely not mature enough to have a baby, if you are pregnant. Seriously... time to grow up. Are you also too embarrassed to buy birth control? Sounds like it.

Yes. But considering you probably want more than just a yes/no answer, here goes. My wife was pregnant twice. While pregnant, her metabolism didn't increase, but her appetite did. You may gain weight, but trust me, it's fairly normal.
Don't worry about it. Consult your doctor if you think you're gaining too much weight and ask what exercises will not harm the baby in this case. Also, if you're not pregnant, your body may be having a "placebic" effect.
See, sometimes what you believe becomes the truth. For example, if I were to announce on various radio stations that beef caused cancer, most people wouldn't take this as a joke, but then, they probably wouldn't research it either.
Theoretically, I could do this just about anytime beef went up in price so as to lower it. Why? Well, I certainly don't have that kind of "pull" in the media, but if I say it, there's a chance someone else will...then someone else...and so on...and so on...
The point is, instead of researching the facts themselves, most people have grown lazy. As a result, they tend to be very gullible and trust quite inept, undereducated people within society, some of which (unfortunately) are celebrities.
I realize I'm rambling here, so I'll stop. The point is, take a pregnancy test. If you're pregnant, congratulations/condolences (depending on your stance, that is). If you're willing to go through with the pregnancy, know this: you will gain weight if, in fact, you want a healthy baby, but not by a "ridiculous" amount.
Also remember, there's no guarantee HOW big your baby will be, so once that's all done and over with, then it's time to hit the gym...if you can. Motherhood's not an easy thing. It can lead to depression, anxiety, a clear lack of sleep, etc.
It's up to you. Good luck, either way. You may need it. But yes, if you're pregnant, there's a good chance you'll gain weight so as to compensate for the baby's metabolism.

If you were not embarassed to have sex, why on earth would you be embarassed to buy a pregnancy test?? Go buy the test. Whatever embarassment you feel doing it is gonna be NOTHIN compared to being in labor, ankles behind your ears, with a bunch of people staring at your hoohah.
I really hate that "I'm eating for two" logic. Even when the baby is full term, he's only 8-9 pounds, so at best, you'll be eating for 1.10 people.

actually being pregnant is just an excuse to eat more. When your pukin you don't want to eat much and when you get big your baby takes up all the room and makes your stomach smaller so you can't really eat that much in one sitting. I read somewhere you only need to take in an additional 500 calories when pregnant (which is like an extra big muffin a day), which is probably why all of us gain so much weight since we tend to over eat during pregnancy. But first sign i had of pregnancy is sore breasts. If your just wanting to eat a lot it might just be you growing since you're still young. Women continue to grow until they're about 19 and men until 21

I couldn't eat a thing the first few months because I feeling really sick. I didn't get a big appetite until I was about 5 months along. But get over the embarrassment and buy a pregnancy test! If you are "mature"enough to get pregnant you should be able to buy a test.

Okay.. here goes.. MUCH to contrary belief, You are NOT eating for two. Actually, you are eating for 1 and .05. This is a baby, not a full grown adult. You should only be taking in 200 calories extra a day. Also, you need to take a test. Even if you are young, you need to take responsibility for your actions and do what is right. If you feel ready to be a mom, you need to hightail it down to the drugstore and buy yourself an HPT. Find out, then worry.

Well if you know you had unprotected sex it's a definite possibility that you are pregnant. But the first week shouldn't really effect you that much. The ebryo is still so small that it doesn't require much nutrients. Once it's bigger then you will want to eat more as you'll need to feed for two. But as for now I'd say you should start feeling nauseous more then hungry.

At only a month no that most probably would not be a symtom. But for the record it can go both ways some women have a very increased appetite while pregnant while others actualy eat less.

You must eat the right things! buy a book on pregnacy eating foods and only indulge in small portions of what you crave that is bad, like cakes and stuff. Also walking will hepl to maintain a figure. Its not an excuse to eat and get fat just cos your pregnant.

yes of course you would eat more your feeding two people not one, don't feel embarrassed to buy a pregnancy kit you have to know if you are pregnant for the health of you more so the baby you need to go to the doctors for checkups.
If you feel to embarrassed to buy one from the shops go the your local family planning clinic or ask a friend to buy test for you.
YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOUR PREGNANT HOW OLD ARE YOU,YOUR NOT THE FIRST YOUNGEST MOTHER AND YOU WONT BE THE LAST
