yeah, I have to. it blocks out all the rest of the noise that would distract me. Like sirens, people talking etc. I mostly listen to game and movie soundtracks, you know, nothing with words.

I used to write with the music on. But as I've gotten older my brain has turned to clay, as brains do when you hit my age, and I find I can no longer handle both at the same time. The sensory input displaces my creative drive. If you can do it, more power to you, but there will probably come a time in your life that you won't be able to focus on two things at once anymore.

it fairly is totally exciting. the only factor is to maintain on writing. comprehend the ending of your tale through actuality in case you do no longer comprehend and additionally you're fairly writing your way into the dark, then you certainly honestly'll supply up. Write in line with hazard 2 pages an afternoon a minimum of and shop it continuously alive on your head. and honestly put in some symbols in there through actuality Twilight replaced into so direct that it fairly comes off as a foul literary piece. Please have not got your character be self-loathing and create a good lady character this is a good effect. as quickly as you're finished, study it for the time of and rewrite it approximately 50 circumstances. i comprehend it sounds tedious, yet this is how the dazzling writers do it. i desire to propose figuring out to purchase the e book, "a thank you to place in writing a damn reliable novel," by potential of way of James N. Frey, too. it might fairly help with beginners to even the biggest experienced writers. have faith me. this could be an stunning investment. i'm so excited for you!!! i'm attempting to place in writing a novel, too. After examining your tale, i've got faith such as you have an stunning kind of potential.

since you asked...personally, i like to listen to music while writing; but i tend to select music without words (jazz/classical/etc.). sounds like your attention is more focused than mine...

but i have to respond with another question...why does it matter what 'anyone else' does? it's cool to be open to others opinions, but i am always wary of any source that tells me i "should" do certain things rather than others...or states that there is only one right way to approach writing. maybe it's just me, but everytime i hear something like that i automatically want to do it the opposite way.

as far as i'm concerned, the only "incorrect" way of writing is not writing...
