What is the real reason behind getting your tounge pierced?

What is the reason behind getting anything pierced? I have 15. I simply like this. I do not have my tongue pierced because I sing and I don't have enough recovery time and still be able to sing as I do right now. It is a personal choice. If someone does it because they believe guys will think it's hot, then they are doing it for the wrong reasons. I do it because I like it.

I got my tongue piercing before it was the cool thing to get. I got it just for the fact that it was a piercing but then it did come in quite useful for others purposes. I've also had guys tell me they like it and don't like it. I've had it out now for a yr for professional reasons so reasons behind it now are probably cause guys are telling their girls to get it done for sexual reasons or because their friends have it done.

I've had mine for years, but I never got it for any sexual reason. I was always drawn to it. It wasn't a whim on my part either. I waited four years before I actually did it to make sure it was what I wanted. I remained drawn to it the entire time. It feels weird now without it.

I don't have it, but from what I've heared from the guys, supposedly it makes makes for a great bj because of the added stimulation from the stud on their sensitive parts.
