Hey, anyone out there knows where can I purchase tires for my 2005 V Star 650 that has raized white lettering on the wall. Most of the providers out there advertize the tires but the picture do not match the actual product since they all are blackwalls - so they say :(

Go to any auto parts store and purchase a "tire lettering pencil".
It's a waxy crayon and comes in different colors. The white paint on the tires is eventually going to chip off, so save your money.

I don't think they make them any more....like they used in the late 70's & early 80's. Many people thought that look of the raised letter tires took away from the overall look of the bike. Have you checked out Metzler? Lately the only choice I've seen were standard blackwall or whitewall tires.

For advertisement and profile purposes, the manufacturers paint the letter/numbers on the tires, but the tire manufacturers do not sell RWL tires for motorcycles because there is little demand for that product.
