Area formula for a circle

A = π r²

you have to know the area square inches, feet, yards etc.

A = π r²

A / π = r²

√A /π = √r²

once you square root and you know the radius

Example

let

314.1592654 = area

π = 3.141592654

r² = radius

- - - - - - -

A = π r²

√314.1592654 / 3.141592654 = √r²

√100 = √ r²

10 = r

The radius is 10

Insert the radius in the circumference formula

C = 2 π r

area=pi*RADIUS^2

solve for radius..

radius = (area/pi)^(1/2)

or radius = sqrt(area/pi)
