i am wanting to get my 1 year old his passport & i need it ASAP as we go away on holiday in 4 weeks time.
i know it is possible to go to liverpool and recive your passport on the same day,but this does not apply to first time applicants.
because my son is only a infant is it possible or not to go to liverpool

Why not ask the Passport Office directly? They'll give you a definitive answer.

why not check out the passport office website as you are sounding stressed and need accurate info.I, like previous answerer received passport back by post within 4 days.

Don't worry, and don't go to Liverpool.
My friend send off her application last Monday and had her passport by Thursday!

Yes you can but be prepared to wait. They may say fill forms out there, and they will post it back to you. Or you can post it to them, get the post office to check it and sent it for you, its quiet this time year, say your going away in 2 weeks.
