Is anyone besides me tired of hearing about these two self-absorbed ego maniacs???

I honestly think that these 2 just love hearing themselves talk and being in the news!!

I'm not saying that Clemens is not a great pitcher. I just think it's tiresome of him these past seasons to hem-haw around and wait till the last possible moment to decide if he's going to pitch! Either retire or play, sheesh.

As far as Schilling, he's not even a hall of famer in my book. Without looking at his numbers I dare say he will not get in.

Well my friend, A couple of days ago, I answered someones question and said practically the very same thing you have just said. It's awful sad for such a great pitcher such a Clemens to play these kind of games. And you are right about Schilling also. Great in his prime, but that time has passed. I always did enjoy watching both of them pitch, but now it's time for both of them to just go away and let us fans get on with the game we all love. Enjoy the season!!

I agree fully about Schilling he is an idiot and he thinks he is so much better than anyone else. Clemens is a hall of famer and it is remarkable that he pitches great to this day. Schilling is lucky his ego maniac head fits in the dug out.

Schilling is a big time ******. Clemens is one of my favorite pitchers. Clemens wanted to be inducted as a Yankee. Schilling thinks he is too good for the Yankees, not to mention that he has worn a Yankee hater hat. I can't stand Schilling. He talks too much s*hit since he won his first ring in 2001, yet he hasn't said much of anything before he his two rings. Clemens is one of my favorite pitchers as well as one of the best. Schilling should be hung from the highest tree. Schilling can't hold a candle to Clemens or any of the Rocket's accomplishments.

I think hes right to question a move, but he should do behind closed doors. Airing dirty laundry never helps your team. As far as having an opinion on everything, I guess you could say he has replaced Schilling on the Sox. However, he is a bigger distraction than Schilling ever was. Stuff like this will hurt the Sox eventually. He does have a big mouth, and thats his right, but like I said before, it is better to avoid talking about the inner workings of your team to the media. Comments like these have the potential to damage the team as a whole and there is no doubt Papelbon needs to be put on a tighter leash by the Red Sox.

you cant really blame either pitcher because the media is so crazy these days. Baseball's biggest players are going to get the most attention no matter what. Alot of u guys are bias and u shouldnt hate Schilling cuz he wears a YankeeHater hat. Hes a red sox pitcher and hes just keeping the rivalry alive.

In Roger's case I think it might have a lot to do with the fact that he cannot accept the fact that he is past his prime. He seems to be holding on to his past glories but deep down inside he knows that the end is near. When you've been pampered your entire life and been told your great your entire life, it's not an easy emotional adjustment to suddenly NOT be in the spot light. His mind tells him to pitch but his body is begging him to retire.

Schilling has visions of the hall of fame. In his mind he thinks he might be a border line choice. He wants to get as close to 300 wins as he can. I really believe that he realizes that he'll never get to the number but with a couple of world series rings a several very key performances in playoff and world series play he just might get some consideration. (1993 Phillies pennant run really got him noticed as a big game pitcher.)

I think you're wrong. Roger Clemens is indeed a walking living legend. He's proven that.

Curt Schilling is a work horse and a humanitarian. There are other players out there who like to toot their own horn (like Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez) who should be out of the game for being the type of people they are.

Anyway, that's my opinion, what do I know?

Yeah, I hate how Clemens keeps teams hanging every year, but I guess he has earned acertain amount of freedom by being the best pitcher of his era. I'm not sick of Schilling quite yet, but I'm getting there!

Roger Clemens might fade away this year. I wish someone would hit a screaming line drive off of Shilling forehead that leaves the seams of the baseball imprinted there for life.

The only reason I am not sick of hearing about Clemens is because every year that he plays just makes Dan Duquetes comments about him look dumber and dumber.
