I am a biased Minnesota fan, and I still can't find anything bad to say about him. He plays the way the game should be played, he is a great all around player, and I kinda hate him for that because we have to play him like 20 times a year! I do think he should be a no. 3 hitter, and get more rbi chances. He does well as a leadoff hitter, but would be better utilized in the heart of the lineup.

I'm a huge Yankees fan, but I still like the Indians a bit. Grady Sizemore is phenomenal. He is one of the best all-round hitters in the . He's got 20-30 HR power, and just as much speed. His batting average will also stay above .300. He's not great defensively. Not counting defense, I'd say he's a somewhat lesser, but not very much, version of Joe DiMaggio. He's a future Hall-of-Famer he meets expectations, and will be in the running for the MVP award, as the Indians might make the playoffs this year.

I think he is an underrated player in the mold of Carlos Beltran. He's got the potential to easily be a 30 homerun/30 steal guy. The only part of his game I'm concerned about is his high strikeout totals as he struck out 153 times last year although he does take his share of walks as well. He'll get his due recognition this year if the Indians can make it far into the playoffs.

Nope, you don't have to be in Ohio to be a fan of Sizemore. I'm in NY and I cheer for him. He's young, talented, confident, and got his head screwed on straight. He's a gamer like the old days but also has flash like the current players. Plus he arrived after the steroid-era, which makes it even better. 92 extra base hits last year! I was rooting for him during the last two weeks to get to 50 doubles, and he did just that. 50/10/25, it's been ages since a player put up that kind of numbers. Just think, no one during the steroid era put up those kind of numbers! It takes a special talent like Sizemore to put up numbers across the board, including steals and playing center field. I like him even more because he reminds me of my favorite all-time player, Eric Davis, who put up incredible numbers in the eighties, playing no more than 135 games each season. Just a coincidence that both play for teams in Ohio. Remember Davis in 1986 and 1987, 27hr/80sb and 37hr/50sb? Anyways, my opinion of Sizemore is that he is top-notch.

I would love to have Sizemore on my team! Ozzie called him the best outfielder in the Central Division. Sox fans agree.

I think he is HIGHLY underrated. I am a Pirates fan (go ahead and laugh) and he was one of the players I wanted the Pirates to go after. He isn't overly powerful but he hits the gaps, drives runs in, and scores a ton. He is a underrated player even on his own team. You have a gem over in OH. And thats coming from a Pittsburgh Kid.

the great thing about grady(love the name, reminds me of sanford and son)is that you can bat him 1-5 and he would be great in any of those spots. hits for power and avg, and he has excellent speed. the guy racks up doubles and triples like no one else in baseball. he also plays a mean CF(always a bunch of web gems from this guy), and has a pretty good arm. MVP in waiting. and to think, he was pretty much a throw in when he was traded to clevland with cliff lee and brandon phillips for bartolo colon.

As a White Sox fan, I wish he was roaming our centerfield. Huge upside on this guy, lots of extra basehits, good batting average getting better, stolen bases, if he continues to improve, looks like a possible future hall of famer to me. The entire ALC shares your opinion.
