I love them both. Dogs are more playful though. Cats are only playful till a certain age, that's what I think. Cats and dog can be so beautifu! If I had to pick I would say dog cause they don't need a litter box.

I have 2 dogs and 11 cats and I love them equally but I prefere cats.

Dogs, especially big dogs. The only reason I would ever get a small dog is to carry it around in a bag.
