it says that. But I dont have norton and i already dtried turning off my virus protection and firewall, but it still doesnt work. My internet's perfect and it is connected, and my friend is playing maple right now, so how do i fix it? I tried rebooting and it didnt help.

Thus is due to the "Gameguard" that loads up when starting the game you might want to try and re-install go to "Start -> My Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files -> Maplestory - Highlight that folder and right click and delete then go to www.maplestory.com and re-install shouldn't take that long if this does not solve your problem it would be best to go to www.maplestory.com.

i got the same thing but it was december when it happened to me. I haven't tried since so it might be that your computer just won't work
