I don't mean a millionaire, I mean to get someone a visa, this popped up in a conversation with a mate recently, neither of us are planning on doing it or anything, but would you? And if so, for how much? It would be a paper marriage, no sex or living together required.

I'm not sure honestly. It would depend on the situation.... why he wanted to get a visa, how I knew him, etc. Cuz even if it's only a paper marriage he could still screw you over when you get divorced later on or whatever. These are things people should seriously consider, because people do stupid and desperate things when they feel trapped or desperate.

However, if I did marry someone to get him a visa it would not be for the money... it would be to help out someone I cared about. I would not marry some random person just to get money.

No chance, its like the million dollar question surely;

If you was married and someone offered you 1 million to sleep with your wife/husband would you! I think not, your marriage would go down the pan, and there was a film made but sorry cant remember the name of film..

Nope, never. it's a sign of weakness. All too many girls marry for a nice secure life but when the guy finds out that it's the reason they got married he dumps her and then where would she be? Looking for another money bags to marry.

no i wouldn't do it, not for any amount of money. i believe that marriage is sacred and i would only marry someone that i love. if he happens to need a visa, well that's fine. but i won't marry solely for visa.

No, never. I will only marry out of love. Marriage is a sacred thing, not to be taken lightly.

I think Jackie Kennedy hit the nail right on the head, "First marriage is for love, second for money, and third for companionship."
I"m on my first and can hardly wait for the seconds' money. LOL
