go to college, and now you have to go to either 2 or 4 years after you graduate.
used to be able to just be college graduate, but thats not the case anymore.

Take courses in college leading up to a degree for physical therapy. Usually a four year course, I think. There are also two year programs to become a physical therapist's assistant. Check the courses at your local colleges. Good luck.

I know in the state of New Mexico you first need a Bachelors first then you can apply to the School of Physical Therapy. Go to www.unm.edu for a more detailed description of what you need.
It is a great carrier to get into but you do need your course work towards the Health Field.
Remember that there will be a greater need now that Baby Boomers are getting to that age of needing physical therapy.
