Its about a week before my period is due to start but I am having a pinkinsh discharge when I wipe.Im scared its implantation bleeding which I heard can happen on the pill. I have been on the pill for five+ years and have never had this happen. Could I have gotten pregnant from missing one pill?

maybe jsut be patient and wait a week for your period, you know the pink thing you're seeing could be from stress over this

After being on the pill for 5+ years it is unlikely that you are pregnant. If you took the pill the next night, then you don't have to use any other form of protection...read the insert for your pills. It tells you what to do if you have missed one, two, three pills. Also, implantation bleeding usually happens weeks 10-12 of pregnancy, not early pregnancy. I agree with the other answerer...it could definitely be some break through bleeding because you were late taking your pill.

I missed a pill before and I didn't get pregnant. How long ago did you have sex because I know the morning after pill will work for three days.

Yes. When you don't take birth control consecutively at around the same time everyday you increase your chances of becoming pregnant. Especially if you practiaclly missed the day and took it that night.
I am not telling you, that your pregnant. Just preparing you for some unexpected news. Take a pregnancy test. If it comes out negative, then save the second one (they usually come in 2's) for after your period is suppose to start.

most likely not....but if you do miss a pill your suppose to take two pills the following day. If you miss it again then the pills are less effective. In that case use a condom.

More than likely break thru bleeding from the missed pill. I would use extra protection for the rest of the month, but more than likely, you aren't pregnant.
