I don't know the average, but I would say in the first few months it's low because many women are extremely tired in their first trimester and are scared of miscarriage. Later in pregnancy, my husband and I had sex several times a week. Many of my friends said the same thing. Woman have more blood flow to that area later in pregnancy, which usually causes more sexual stimulation. It's usually just a matter of finding the right position because the belly gets in the way.

as often as you'd like unless the doc says otherwise. Some woman's sexual appetites increase during pregnancy (or vice versa). toward the end of pregnancy though, there's something in semen that causes contractions, so to avoid early labor use a condom the 7th/8th month, but 9th month is a go to get that baby outta there! I went into labor at 9 1/2 months right after sex, lol. spooning or rear entry will probably by most comfortable as she gets bigger.

Well, I am pregnant right now and let me say.. before I got pregnant.. My husband and I's sex life was great. it wasn't every day but, no more than a day apart, Maybe sometimes twice a day.. I'm at 37 weeks now.. and my sex drive has it rock bottom. My personal opinion, Your just so uncomfortable and huge that that's the last thing you think about.. That's is for me. I hope it goes back up after the baby but, who knows?? My husband is lucky if he gets anything once a week..

only 45% are still doing it at the end of pregnancy but most probably do it off and on in the middle. The begininng is hard for women as they are ill with morning sickness so it is probably not happening for most couples.

It just wierds me out. My poor fiance. Like 7 times in the last 9 months. I am expecting any second though, so I'll make up for it.

Depends on the couple and their comfort level. Personally, my sex drive increased...so you do the math.

i'm 4 months, i have had sex 2 times.
my husband is too scared to do it. i had to force him those 2 times.

AS many times as you want! Some women crave it, others can't stand it. Whatever you feel comfortable with.. its normal and healthy! :)

My husband and I did but not as often as we normally would. It felt weird having a beachball between us.
