First I have to ask, why are you wanting to increase your virtual memory?

Are you getting error messages saying your virtual memory is low?

Ideally, you would want to install more physical memory if you start getting virtual memory issues, based on a performance standpoint.

To increase your Virtual Memory, or Paging File, on Winxp: right click on "My computer" or go to system properties in the control panel.

Once there, go to the advanced tab. Under "Performance" click on the settings button.

That will open up a new window, and go to the advanced tab again.

On that page it will allow you to change the virtual memory on your computer. Keep in mind that this will not increase the performance on your machine by any noticeable amount.
