Itching skin is just a sign that your skin is stretching out. I had itching skin but I got no stretchmarks. You can by some lotion that will ease the itching but it is just part of the expanding belly and hormones

Itching are the first signs.Cocoa butter is used for both preventing stretch marks and treating them. If the weight gain is due to pregnancy, the cocoa butter should be rubbed daily on the affected area. Cocoa butter should be applied to the skin soon after a warm water bath, when the pores are open and the cocoa butter is easily absorbed. Shea butter may also be used instead of cocoa butter. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks at the link below.

Not necessarily. The skin could be dried out, pregnancy sucks out a lot of nutrients from the body. The skin also could be expanding. Depending on weight gain and skin elasticity is the weighing factor when stretch marks appear.

i heard when skin is itchy and you scratch it, it will cause stretch marks. So whenever I had an itch, i rubbed cocoa butter lotion on it. i have no stretchmarks. but I also heard that stretchmarks are hereditary too. But just to be safe, try the cocoa butter ALL OVER. I got stretch marks behind my knees...i never rubbed any there.

No. Pregnant women tend to get dry skin. My belly would itch and I never got any stretch marks. I just tried to keep fully hydrated and use a good moisturizing lotion daily.

No or else I would have had stretch marks on my palms. You really can't prevent stretch marks, there's no product that works. But keeping your belly moisturized will help reduce the appaearance, as in the stratch marks "may not" get too dark.

hate to tell you but stretch marks are not something you can avoid, weather it's pregnancy or losing a lot of weight. sorry :(
i put a lot of vitamin e lotion and coco butter lotion on my belly when i was prego, i think that just helps reduce the amount you get.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/UdXHd
